Everyone loves a touch of luxury, and LUXE from Face of Australia certainly fits the bill. This limited edition set of eight polishes is super cute – it’s not themed for winter or summer or rock chic or star signs. Just eight cool colours in a beautiful formula.

Considering that I have been banging on about gold, baby blue and purple being the colours for summer, it was really refreshing to have the Essie summer collection land on my desk with not a drop of any of these colours in sight. Instead, Essie are treating us to varying shades of orange and coral (a summer failsafe), a twist on our old favourite taupe, nude, pink and a green that will blow your mind.
Bloom have totally nailed it (zing!) with their newest designer collaboration. The Flamingo Sands SS10 collection ‘LA Woman’ is packed full of swimsuits in an array of punchy summer colours (drool), and the two polishes are the perfect compliment to the summer weather we are yet to have.
Summer is so close, you can smell it – literally! Revlon are revisiting their popular scented polish by putting out 8 memorable summertime scents with the Scents of Summer Nail Collection.
It’s a mix of popping brights and creamy pastels, all with a hint of shimmer.

Happy First Day of Spring! I’m busy getting my pedi ready for sandals and drooling over the fabulous new collections that have been rolling in for the new season.
Remember I mentioned that four of the six Essie Spring 2010 colours were available in July exclusively in Bettina Liano stores? The other two hit shelves today to make up the magical collection and start the season in style.

Get ready girls – Glitter Gal are taking this ‘collaborating with our favourite Aussie fashion brands’ business seriously. First Nookie and now Cooper St. Glitter Gal have hooked up with one of my fav girlie brands to create a gorgeous set of 3 colours (lavender, grey and peach) and will be available from next week at the Cooper St store in Bondi.
Pretty much all the trend reports I have read for spring say pastels are going to be hot. I’m very excited because some of the brands are coming out with beautiful collections for once the weather starts to heat up. Essie have a completely edible collection (not literally!) of 6 colours for spring, 5 of which are pastel and all of which are wearable.
I was chatting to celebrity manicurist, glamourpuss and all around nice girl Melisa Giraldo from Fifty Four Park St last week and we were lamenting the fact that more people don’t go for bright nails in winter. Considering that the majority of us wear grey and black for three months solid, this should be the perfect time to accessorise the drab with a pop of purple, splash of sea green or burst of blue.
