Happy First Day of Spring! I’m busy getting my pedi ready for sandals and drooling over the fabulous new collections that have been rolling in for the new season.

Remember I mentioned that four of the six Essie Spring 2010 colours were available in July exclusively in Bettina Liano stores? The other two hit shelves today to make up the magical collection and start the season in style.

The two missing colours are Red Nouveau and Pop Art Pink. The red is a gorgeous creamy true tomato red. It’s bright and sophisticated without being agressive, so it’s more subtle on nails than punchy and bold. Perfect if you’re chanelling Mad Men this September.

Pop Art Pink is a sheer pink, that paints on like jelly and reminds me of marshmallows. It’s quite light, and would be perfect for doing a french mani if you are that way inclined.

My pick of the bunch is Neo Whimsical (always gets me compliments) to be on trend for pastels andRed Nouveau for a timeless touch of class.
