New on shelf: China Glaze Poolside neon collection
Let’s get into the swing of things for summer, shall we? I know we’re only two days into spring, but there is nothing like forward planning.
We know that pastels are a huge trend for spring and summer 2010/11, but you can’t have summer without brights, and there are some fab collections coming our way (OPI Summer Flutter and Zoya Flash are both making my heart sing). This is the brightest of the bright, but with a twist. Matte.

China Glaze have brought us 6 electric colours BUT they are matte, so you don’t get that glossy punch that you get with normal fluoros. I’m imagining these on fingers and toes as you pad across the hot Bondi sand – pastels are great, but neons and brights have a definite place when the sun is scorching and the cocktails are flowing.
The China Glaze formula is three-free (no DBP, toluene and formaldehyde), so it’s totally safe for all you yummy-mummies and anyone with allergies. Plus the formula is pigment rich and goes on smooth for even coverage. Once I try these to swatch them I’ll let you know about the matte staying power.
