Let’s get into the swing of things for summer, shall we? I know we’re only two days into spring, but there is nothing like forward planning.
We know that pastels are a huge trend for spring and summer 2010/11, but you can’t have summer without brights, and there are some fab collections coming our way (OPI Summer Flutter and Zoya Flash are both making my heart sing). This is the brightest of the bright, but with a twist. Matte.

Remember I mentioned that four of the six Essie Spring 2010 colours were available in July exclusively in Bettina Liano stores? The other two hit shelves today to make up the magical collection and start the season in style.
Remember when I posted about the OPI Swiss Collection? I have been gradually swatching a handful of my favourites from the range – I say gradually because I fell in love with each and every colour and didn’t want to take it off. This obviously holds the swatching process up somewhat.
I picked three metallics and two cremes to swatch – two blues, two burgundies and a green. I went with winter-y colours that are also going to be wearable coming into spring.
There is a really quick and easy way to keep your cuticles in good condition – rub a balm into them. When you put it like that it seems so obvious, right?
There are three fabulous balms that are small enough to fit in your pocket and potent enough that they will protect, heal and hydrate your cracked cuticles in a flash. Bonus: you can also use them on elbows, chapped lips, hands, knees and to give cheeks a soft glow.
